For every artist, there is support behind the work. For me, this comes from my teachers and mentors – both past and present – and my vivid, ever-active imagination. My artistic eye often turns inward, tapping into a bottomless well of creativity that bubbles up inside me. Depending on my mood and circumstances, my outlet for artistic expression is constantly shifting mediums, which in turn leads to more ideas and connections. I draw inspiration from the world around me and the beauty that I find in both the fascinating and the mundane. A two ounce lump of polymer clay somehow forms itself into a living being under my very hands; the fleeting reflections in a drop of water show me a precious moment of beauty; my life as a ballet dancer begs to find new expression… new ways of communicating what lives within my body; my background as a musician creates a need to find the visual melodies, harmonies, and rhythm that pulse through all life.

Like many animal people, I find the companionship of my three cats to be a vital part of my existence, keeping me grounded and secure. They provide comfort, love, laughter, beauty, and inspiration. They are an integral part of my creative world. Kitti Kotyonok is perfect in every way (her own words, however true!) and she rules the household, Molly provides conversation, entertainment and lots of soft fur (literally, all over!) and Iyanna Grace, despite her exotic beauty, provides more cuddles than any cat I have ever known, and a sweet and social personality that endears her to everyone who meets her.

Welcome to my world!
